This\u00a0is a contextualist project. The experience of living in the Albaicin quarter brought into a piece of contemporary architecture.There is an obvious\u00a0connection between traditional and modern architecture, which the project would reach by\u00a0assimilating\u00a0the roots and the\u00a0language of the\u00a0context. \u00a0Those values\u00a0that can be only discovered by using, \u00a0 experiencing\u00a0and knowing\u00a0the neighborhood\u00a0in the dialogical experience of quotidian life.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0this same sense, architecture\u00a0can\u00a0listen to\u00a0the discours of the\u00a0context\u00a0and give it continuity without breaking up with contemporary,\u00a0learn and understand the\u00a0language of real context\u00a0and\u00a0speak it today in a contemporanean form.<\/p>\n

In the conceptual terrain of meiterranean traditional popular neighbourhoods, like the Albaicin (Granada, Spain), a “way of life” gravitate towards the ignorance (and curiosity) of visitors,\u00a0making\u00a0way though this tissue if intimacy, and the knowledge and complicity of those who there inhabit. As well as the neighborhood, the building asks the visitor for an active knowledge and at same time suggests its mystery, inviting those who want to experience it, to unravel it and make it own, and rejecting those who does not admit the game, turning for them into a char labyrinth.<\/p>\n

Opacity and visibility. \u00a0Compactness and fragmentary. \u00a0Public dimensions and domestic scale. \u00a0Privacy and shared urban spaces. \u00a0Hiding and showing. .\u00a0Silent garden and children’s voices in the square. \u00a0Quiet streets through the urban mass, while music comes from an anonymous window. \u00a0Improvised singularities bringing up\u00a0the specific urban plan. \u00a0 Comprehension and experience. \u00a0\u00a0The curiosity of visitors and the copmplicity of those who\u00a0know. \u00a0Rationalism and sensuality…<\/p>\n
