Based on a true story…<\/p>\n

On a early morning like any other, on my way to an important meeting (60Km away, at 8:00 a.m.), I discover that someone broke the rear view mirror. It is 7:20 a.m. No repair shop, no any shop open -bauhaus, beauty or toys shop-. Driving without a rear view mirror is neither legal nor safe. What to do? And idea comes up when I realise, that I have a CD and some tape.
\nMaybe it was not the most elegant solution, but facing it with a lack of prejudice, it was the one that allowed me to drive 60 Kilometers, arrive in time to my meeting and get the contract I was fighting for.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This story took part as a piece of art in the exhibition “Reparaturkultur\u201d<\/strong> (“Culture of Repairing”), in Berlin, organised by Group Global 3000, Arts and other Sustainabilitie<\/a>s<\/strong> and curated by Tom Albrecht.<\/p>\n

The text in the installation the meaning and the origin or the term “Flickschuster” (“Master of Patches”): Well, what did you expect? You would have to use a mirror… in fact if you use a CD, it would make me very happy.<\/p>\n
